Kaisa’s in the kitchen again, this time working with the map. Amazingly enough she didn’t suffer from any back or hand pains during the process – we can safely assume she had all the cycling and gym training to thank for it, not her workplace ergonomics.

Many people (mainly Christoffer’s parents) will tell you that we live in a very messy house, but at least one thing we take good care of: our books’ original drawings and sketches. They’re all well stashed away, just waiting for Tate Modern or MoMa to get in touch with us about a big retrospective.

Our multi-talented friend Nici played quite a big role in the production of the book: she was the person behind the camera when we shot the cover photo, and also responsible for all the scanning and most of the coloring and halftones. Huge thanks to you, Nici!

After Christoffer had finished the miniature sketches and storyboards, Kaisa redid them in the final size and in her own style. And yes, we know all this sketching and re-sketching isn’t the most effective method to create a book – but we didn’t want effective, we wanted beautiful.
